SLAIGHT MUSIC– Slaight Music was started by Gary Slaight and Derrick Ross in 2011 with a mandate to support the Canadian music community through a variety of initiatives, and to develop Canadian talent via strategic partnerships with industry peers. Slaight works with artists from across the country and across the musical spectrum, helping to further careers and get great music heard. Slaight has also invested in the technology sphere, helping Canadian music entrepreneurs develop the next generation of digital platforms and services.


Bell Media - Bell Media is Canada’s leading content creation company with premier assets in television, radio, out-of-home advertising, and digital media. Bell Media owns 30 local television stations and 30 specialty channels as well as being Canada’s largest radio broadcaster, with 109 licensed radio stations delivering music, news, weather, sports, local politics, events, entertainment, and community issues.


      FACTOR – As a private non-profit organization, FACTOR is dedicated to providing assistance toward the growth and development of the Canadian music industry. The foundation administers contributions from private radio broadcasters as well as two components of the Department of Canadian Heritage’s Canada Music Fund. Support is provided to Canadian recording artists, songwriters, managers, labels, publishers, event producers and distributors through various programs. FACTOR supports many facets of the infrastructure which must be in place in order for artists and music entrepreneurs to progress into the international arena.

Since then, in those two short years, the website has grown into one of the smartest, sharpest, and most dynamic music hubs on the planet—continually breaking the mold and defining music coverage in the evolving media landscape. itself reaches millions and millions of readers and subscribers a month, a must-stop source for new music, investigative journalism, and artist-sourced content. In 2012, Noisey continued its takeover by partnering with YouTube as a premium content provider, creating a slew of nontraditional shows that embrace VICE’s signature offbeat coverage, illustrating the absurdity and poignancy of the modern life.


      TIFF – TIFF is dedicated to presenting the best of international and Canadian cinema to film lovers. Their vision is to lead the world in creative and cultural discovery through the moving image. What began as a ten-day film festival has grown to embrace programming 365 days a year. TIFF offers screenings, lectures, discussions, festivals, workshops, industry support and the chance to meet filmmakers from Canada and around the world.       SOCAN FOUNDATION – The SOCAN Foundation, founded in 1992, is dedicated to fostering Canadian music creation and promoting a better understanding of the role of music creators in today’s society. The SOCAN Foundation is an independent organization guided by its own board of directors. The board, which consists of songwriters, composers and music publishers, reflects popular music and concert music genres as well as the geographic and linguistic regions of Canada.


      TORONTO ARTS COUNCIL – Toronto Arts Council (TAC) is the City of Toronto’s funding body for artists and arts organizations. Since 1974, TAC has played a major role in the city’s cultural industries by supporting a very broad range of artistic activity. From the emerging artist to the most established, from celebrated institutions to arts that challenge convention, TAC is typically the first funder to offer support. Today, TAC grants lead to exhibitions, performances, readings and workshops seen annually by over 7.5 million people. Through ongoing funding, TAC cultivates a rich engagement between artists and audiences.

      M·A·C COSMETICS – M·A·C is the world’s leading professional makeup authority. Make-Up Art Cosmetics started life in Toronto, Canada.
